I have already shared a Strawberry Oats Smoothie
earlier, but you may find that there is a difference in the recipe. I would say that this is a much healthier version, with less milk involved and yogurt added. The roasted oats adds a very raw flavor to the smoothie, so if you can't take that raw taste, then you can cook the oats in some water before using it into the smoothie. This reminds me that I had used the similar technique while making the Carrot Oats Smoothie
as well... Thankfully strawberries are still available in the market albeit a bit expensive now...
Off to the recipe...
Strawberry Oats Yogurt Smoothie
3 tbsp quick oats
6 strawberries, chopped
2/3 cup milk
2 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp honey
Dry roast the quick oats for a couple of minutes till a nice aroma comes. Allow to cool.
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blitz till smooth. Enjoy the filling smoothie!
